No: Many people think that teething causes fever and diarrhea but this is not true. Typically a baby is more fussy than usual. If he has a fever you can give him tylenol (acetaminophen) eor whatever your doctor has recommended.Contact the doctor if the fever and diarrhea persists.

No and call MD!: Diarrhea and fever can be serious in one year olds. Regardless of the cause, you should contact your pediatrician and discuss these symptoms. It is very unlikely that those symptoms are related in any way to teething.
