UnderLocalAnesthesia: Small stones are treated at home with salt water gargles or removed with picks or swabs and antibiotics.Large stones arte surgically removed after using a local anesthetic and there will be no pain.In children sometimes general anesthetic is used.Discuss with your ENT what treatment you will need if you have symptomatic tonsillar stones
