Condoms: When birth control pills are stopped mid-way, ovulation becomes unpredictable and breakthrough bleeding is likely to ensue. If there is a concern that taking antibiotics and for that matter any medication that may decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills, condoms can be used as a safe-measure, until the situaion is under control.
