A member asked:

I take yaz birth control pills (24+4). i would like to move the dates of my period significantly for a specific date, so i was thinking to continue taking the active pills for 3 packs in a row without taking a break to bleed. is it safe?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Some people do that: Some women who are on daily same-dose birth control pills and doing well without pill-related problems, do switch over to taking the active pills continuously. One should ask her prescribing doctor if it is ok to do that. Usually, a normal woman can do this, but always ask the prescriber. A woman can then decide when to take her placebos to get a period.
