Not herpes: Once someone has recurrent herpes, either oral or genital, for more than a few months, it almost never spreads elsewhere. And if the leg patches were herpes, they would look the same and behave the same as your other outbreaks. Almost certainly this is something else, entirely unrelated to herpes.
