Absolutely, visual: acuity is primarily determined by the curvature of cornea, the 6 extraocular muscles (which pull to rotate the eye), the shape of the lens (behind the iris) and intraocular pressure so as to focus light rays on the fovea centralis portion of the retina combined with light receptor density. Thus there are multiple interacting factors which can change, both quickly & over time, to change focus.
