Normal spinal cord: The central canal is a small, elongated cavity that contains cerebrospinal fluid and is located in the middle of the spinal cord. It can be slightly prominent without being abnormal. An abnormally enlarged central canal is called hydromyelia (or syringomyelia). "no thoracic myelopathy" means the thoracic spinal cord looked normal on your imaging study.
