I was diagnosis spondylosis of thoracic spine without myelopathy. i went to a neurosurgeon but he just wanted to watch it. what will you suggest? please advise the pain is so bad it causes me depression, anxiety and hard to concentrate?

Appears that surgery is not appropriate, which should be reassuring, as there is a risk of spinal cord complications with thoracic procedures. Although medications could control pain and your emotions, would instead urge physical therapy, stretching, exercise, and a visit to a physiatrist.

Agree with Dr. Mechanic. If a surgeon did not recommend surgery, that should be reassuring and waiting and watching may be a safe choice. Wish you good health!
