I fell and had a compression fracture 4 years ago ....i just had a mri and it says i have impingment with edma ...could the fall cause it?

Yes: Certainly a fall is the most common cause. Compression fractures are related to osteoporosis. If you are older and you fall you can get a compression fracture that can affect the nerves and spinal cord. If you are having neurological symptoms I would see a doctor asap.
