Genital herpes: If your doctor is experienced in genital herpes, probably you have it. If likely a new infection (multiple sores, swollen lymph nodes, fever, etc), you should have been started on anti-herpes treatment (acyclovir, valacyclovir) without waiting for test results. If mild and likely recurrence of older infection, maybe no need for Rx. I hope swab test done to confirm and to check HSV1 vs HSV2.
