Plavix half life: Plavix comes in 75 mg, so I don't know why you say 300 mg. Usually plavix should be held for 7 days before invasive procedure.

Plavix: Since plavix' effect on platelets can last up to 10 days, the dose on resumption depends upon how long it was discontinued preoproperatively. If it was held for only a week or less,I would resume it at a one daily dose. Your pharmacist may be able to better answer your question, however.

Plavix: Since a procedure is involved and there is no information on other medications and past history his is a question you have to ask your cardiologist or neurologist whomever prescribed the Plavix . Please call your provider this AM and post the question the staff will be more then willing to discuss it with you
