Yes.: Aortic regurgitation (leaking of the aortic valve), if severe enough, can cause palpitations and prominent pulses as well as enlargement of the heart to the point where one can see the pulsations on the chest wall. The degree of aortic valve leaking can readily be seen on an echocardiogram.
