A member asked:

I have cut 2 tendons in my thumb, i ve put a splint for 5-6 weeks but can i switch it with thumb support especially that its in my right hand?

No: You should go see an orthopedic hand surgeon. If you cut the tendons completely, they will not grow back together and you'll have decreased use of your thumb. If The injury is to your dominant hand that makes it even more important that you have full function of that hand if possible.
