Why ask here? : It may be propofol, it may be midazolam, it may be fentanyl. Different docs use different drugs. Why don't you ask them? Call 'em up. Be sure to check with your insurance carrier. Some will cover certain drugs and others won't. If your doc's choice is not covered, be sure to let them know. They may be able to get authorization from your carrier. Getting one may take a few years (a joke, sort of).
