Common cold: -Soothe the sore throat with saltwater gargle rinses, or over the counter lozenges, throat sprays like Chloraseptic which has a numbing medication. -For the stuffiness, try over the counter saline nasal sprays or antihistamine decongestions. -Rest, humidifier -Honey, over the counter medications with Guaifenesin (Robitussin, Mucinex), or Tessalon perles prescription medication for cough.
