Viral URI: These symptoms are consistent with a viral upper respiratory tract infection which usually runs its course after a week. Signs that a bacterial bronchial or lung infection has developed would be fever, chill, sweats, deep cough producing discolored phlegm. Worrisome signs are chest pain on deep breath, wheezing or shortness of breath. If you note any of these symptoms, see your physician.
