Assuming: that you were not exposed to a loud noise or noises on one side of your body (eg shooting a gun without proper PPI (Personal Protect Equipment) the MRI is INDEED INDICATED to r/o acoustic neuroma (a BENIGN tumor of the acoustic nerve) Hope this is helpful! BE WELL Dr Z
