A member asked:

Can a hearing specialist (ent) literally see, (with mri's) the presence of inner ear fluid buildup that may result in the diagnosis meniere's disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Would be unique: In most cases, the lower strength mri's in the range of 1.5 t, would not have the clarity or resolution to sort out. However, a higher field strength MRI in the range of 3.0 t or even higher, might distinguish such changes.
