Neurotoxicity is: when something alters the normal activity of the nervous system in such a way as to cause damage to nervous tissue. Although rare, it may occur with many antibiotics including Levaquin (Levofloxacin). Strange dreams, mood and other mental changes may occur. They should subside when the medication is withdrawn but may require specific treatment. Best regards.
