Several possibiities: Most of us have "brain glitches" from time to time. In older folks they're known euphemistically as "senior moments." But anyone at any age can have brief moments during which the mind seems to go into "la la land." Maybe we're distracted or overwhelmed or just bored and start to day dream. Although they're rarely a result of a medical condition, if you're concerned, talk with your doctor.

Recommendation: Would attempt to get this sorted out, as could be initial symptoms which could worsen. You could be experiencing focal seizures, a migraine problem termed dysphrenia hemicrania transitoria, a psychological dissociative or fugue issue. An EEG test could sort much of this out. Perhaps a visit to neurology.
