Right abdominal: Discomfort arising in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen is seen in gall bladder disorders or liver inflammation. Discomfort in the right lower abdomen occurs in appendicitis or right ovarian/pelvic disorders. Your symptoms may be caused by irritable bowel syndrome or lactose intolerance. Consult your physician or a gastroenterologist if symptoms persist.
