Had physical today. dr said thyroid is enlarged. did blood work and is scheduling ultrasound. what could it being enlarged mean?

Lots of stuff: Usually it means nothing and you never find the cause. "Idiopathic multinodular goiter" is a non-disease with no real risks. The lab work is to rule stuff out that might be troublesome and treatable. Best wishes.
