Phlegm from cough: Mostly clear phlegm is fairly normal. You probably have allergies. I would try a nasal steroid like Flonase and use it twice a day. It takes about 3 to 5 days to work. Be patient. You can try a decongestant like sudafed to dry you up until the Flonase kicks in. Good luck! Feel better!

Mgt: An inbox consultation may help to determine the next step. I would suggest sputum cultures including a KOH stain for fungus, fungal cultures and AFB. You should also be evaluated by a pulmonary specialist, and imaging may be performed. An allergy to fungus should be considered.
