Could be Chlamydia: If you are sexually active, it could be pink eye due to a chlamydia infection. You should both be seen by an ophthalmologist and have cultures taken of the inside of your eyelids (conjunctiva). It's important because this infection can damage the Fallopian tubes and cause infertility if you want to have children in the future. Treatment with antibiotic pills is curative and will prevent this.
