No worries: Sometimes, very small gray-blue spots can appear on the white portion of the eye known as the sclerae. This is a harmless condition called scleral melanocytosis and is due to normal pigment in the middle layer of the sclera "peaking through" the outer layer..

Pigmentosis: Most of the time, means benign changes. Most likely your son has a dark completion and this is just pignent in the covers of the eye. But it would be nice to visit the pediatric ophthalmologist in your area and make sure of that.

Not sure.: There are several possibilities, depending on whether it is new or present since birth. Your best bet is to take the patient to see a pediatric ophthalmologist.
