A member asked:

Mri scan said subtle changes to central spinal cord, what could this be? it says no neural compression in any of the spine, does this rule out a tumor? thanks

Varies: There are multiple potential causes for signal changes with in the spinal cord. It can even be artifact and so you would want to make sure you had a good quality, high resolution Mri with contrast to ensure the finding is even real. Followup with a neurologist for a detailed exam and to discuss the Mri findings would be recommended.
