Time for a visit: He may be passed the worst part of the croup but as many as a third of these kids will develop an ear infection.Monitor if you feel comfortable about it but if it is getting wore it is time for a visit.

Have ears checked: Your son might be pulling ear due to ear infection. Follow up with son's doctor so ears can be checked for possible infection.
