Possible: If the scar is noticeable and you really want to get rid of it, then you should probably see a plastic surgeon or possibly a cosmetic dermatologist to see if intervention is possible. If the scar has been there a year, it is likely permanent so the options are concealers or surgical/laser treatments. Good luck.
