A member asked:

How can you tell if an ovarian tumour is benign without surgery, will a mri be able to confirm if it benign ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pathology: The Gold standard for benign vs. malignant is by microscopic examination by a pathologist. The lesion needs to be removed and submitted to a pathologist for examination. Wish you good health.
