Not an STD: No STD is a likely cause of a "small white lump" of the lip. The only possibility tha tmight explain such a bump is oral herpes, which is usually not sexually acquired; and would not just be a white bump, but a blister beoming a pimple then open sore. Anyway, standard STD tests don't check for herpes. This doesn't sound like anything to worry about, but see a doctor if you remain concerned.
