IPhones and Eyes: The power of a laser can cause damage if it shines into your eye. A picture of a laser displayed on a cell phone cannot be any brighter or more powerful than the brightest setting on the phone screen. Therefore, just as looking at a bright picture on the phone will not damage your eyes, neither will a picture of a laser.
