A ct scan revealed a 3.5cm solid mass abuts the pancreas. he said it did not look like cancer. it looked like pancreatic tissue. any ideas what it could be?

Uncertain: A soft tissue mass on CT scan can be benign or malignant(Cancer). A biopsy is required to determine its nature and to exclude cancer. If the patient is asymptomatic, then a short term follow up and repeat CT scan can guide you further. if it doe snot increase in size over 2 to 4 months, it may be benign, but a longer follow up for about 12 months is advised.
