Tell surgeon: I recommend that you notify your otolaryngologist who performed the procedure of these postoperative symptoms. He/she will decide whether he/she or your primary care physician should examine you. It's possible that you aspirated some secretions or have developed an asthmatic type reaction after the procedure. Either way you need a careful lung examination and appropriate treatment as soon as possi
