ProbNot preoccupying: If i were to guess, i'd say you have an upper respiratory infection (bronchitis). You may have underlying asthma that is usually dormant but gets unmasked when you have bronchitis. The pain is mainly "pleurisy" that is bruising of the lung lining which causes pain. Ibuprofen typically helps. A simple inhaler may remove the wheezing, to use when needed or when you catch a cold.
