That Is one: of the behavior traits of those battling anxiety, it's your coping mechanism that's being activated, No it is not normal to cut out those around you that love you and care, But how long has this feeling been going on? I would suggest to seek help of a Therapist or counselor to explore if it's any underlining issues that is causing your anxiety state.
