My daughter has jia and gets remicade infusions w/ benadryl. her bp drops to 68/15 when she falls asleep. is it dangerous to give her benadryl at home?

Mgt: I would suggest having her monitored at an infusion center at a local children's center. Does she have any cardiac conditions? If so , this may contribute. The dose of the pre medication may need to be adjusted accordingly, or a non sedating antihistamine such as Claritin can be considered.
