Hypothyroid. TSH started @ 13.8 & ft4 1.3. On synthroid. Antibodies normal. Never had thyroid surgery, meds that affect thyroid. What could be cause?
Dx hypothyroid in April, been on synthroid (thyroxine) 0.025mg x 3 months, but TSH went higher (~13) w/ normal ft4. Could viorele birth control cause high TSH?
I have hypothyroidism. Elevated TSH. Normal T3 and T4. Antibody test was negative. Endocrinologist still refers to it as Hashimotos and says that's "most likely" the cause. Why would that be if I have no antibodies?
Had 2 sets of thyroid tests. Results test 1 = TSH 13.62 with FT4 1.1 ; results test 2 = TSH 12.68 with FT4 1.3. Dx is hypothyroid but why is t4 normal?
Can hypothyroid (TSH = 13.6 & FT4 = 1.1) be the cause of my irregular periods (starts ~3-4 days early most months). Also on BC pills. ?
