This imaging finding: needs to be interpreted in the light of your clinical circumstances. Pancreatic atrophy and calcification can be suggestive of chronic pancreatitis--have you been diagnosed with this condition? Various guidelines exist for ongoing monitoring of calcifications within the pancreas; sometimes calcifications are a sign of developing cancer. While you may not need immediate testing, follow-up is needed
