my hard, fixed& not painful mass behind ear was examined by doc. and palpated surrounding area& said as long as there's no other masses it's ok.enough?

No other masses: He cannot palpate any other masses but there may be ones that are not accessible to him. I would document their size and location and re-evaluate in 6 months time. If any change, then have it excised. An old rule, when in doubt, cut it out. It's near the surface of the skin! It shouldn't be too hard to do!
