Consider culture: When concerned for strep throat, management may often include getting a culture and swab to evaluate for strep. The vast majority of pharyngitis cases are not treated with antibiotics, those that need them are best identified with culture PRIOR to starting therapy.

Recommendation : To give you prescription with proper medication we need to do the strep test, what is impossible on line. You can use urgent care or minute clinic for this. They will do the test and if it positive , they calculate the proper dose for his age and weight Make it right, please. .
