I am 35 weeks pregnant and i am prone on getting yeast infections, i was given metronidazole 500 mg in labor and delivery for a "bv". can i use a vaginal cream while taking the antibiotics? it's starting to itch n i see white stuff outside vulva. :(

Yeast cream : Vaginal yeast cream is not dangerous for use. If you feel that you have a yeast infection it is reasonable to try and over-the-counter cream. If you are not certain and see your doctor and let them do testing to determine the cause and prescribed the proper treatment
