100.4 and above...: ...has traditional been the definition of a fever. Please remember that ibuprofen and acetaminophen help relieve the fever and the associated aches and pains. But after 4-6 hours, the medications wear off, so you must re-dose yourself. It seems your illness is resolving, which is expected. However, if you still have fever in two days, see your doctor.
