I have been taking between 4 to 6 tablets of diphenhydramine (advil (ibuprofen) pm) for the last three days. am i in any danger, and if not, what should i do now, other than stop taking it.

.: You have not mentioned your weight. So i assume you are a healthy weight. The amount of medication you have taken is the upper limit of normal. But you are gonna be sleepy so do not drive or use heavy machinery or put yourself in any position i danger. Check with your physician if you show any symptoms. And also try not to take any meds that have not been advised by a medical profession (even otc).

Advil (ibuprofen) pm: Taking 4-6 tablet of advil pm can lead to gastritis and intestinal bleeding over a prolonged period. If you are taking advil pm for sleep you may want to consider taking Diphenhydramine alone without the ibuprofen.
