A member asked:

Possible reason for a person with raised intracranial pressure complains of neck pain getting relieved by tilting head?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Difficult to say: A possible explanation is that the nerve roots of the neck are compressed or narrowed. By tilting the head one way, this opens up the foramen (the exit ports for the nerve roots) on one side, thus taking pressure off them and decreasing the pain.
