Tell him the beha-: Vior you expect when he's angry; e.g., "use words, like, 'no, thankyou' or 'i don't enjoy that'.Tell him the immediate consequence for spitting, & follow through. Walk him to time out from behind; don't talk, make eye contact or act upset.Repeat as many times as he gets up + 1. Set timer for 3 min. Escort him back to time-in w/o scolding. He'll spit more at first, then stop, if you're consistent.
