My son is 4 year, having three ulcers in his mouth, last week finish penicillin antibiotic course. is it normal?

Viral infection: The ulcers in his mouth are viral in origin and would not have been affected by penicille. At this point i would give ice cream and popsicles and tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen for pain relief.
