Ovarian cysts: You did not mention your age, but such a result of a scan indicates that the cluster of cysts should be sampled and a tissue biopsy should be obtained. This can be done by laparoscopic means (minimally invasive). See your GYN provider and have this done immediately.

Unfortunately yes: Since You and your gynecological surgeon need to find out if this cyst is benign or malignant, "removal is your best option".
