Yes: There may be a relationship, but there are many other causes for restless babies.

Hypothyroid infant: Thyroid dysfunction can be associated with sleep disturbance usually hyperthyroidism/ too much thyroid replacement. In my experience restlessness can be found in both hypo & hyperthyroidism.
