Choice of NSAID: Naproxen and ibuprofen are both non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) medications. They can be substituted for each other but should NOT be taken together. Many over-the-counter combination medications contain a NSAID and you should always check the ingredient list. For knee injury, remember R-I-C-E for Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation. If unable to bear weight, an x-ray may be needed.

You can but: You need to stick with one versus the other. If you're having that much problem you need to see your physician. Your therapy will depend on the impact every total medical condition
