Yes: Removing splint prematurely can lead to healing problems and permanent disability. Please return to the GP or Orthopedic Surgeon who placed the splint for reevaluation.

Yellow: It is your skin that is yellow most likely from bleeding into your tissues when the injury occurred. Over days the blood breakdown products go from black and blue to a yellowish tinge and this also will gradually fade away.
